LAND YOUR DREAM JOB IN CANADA

Trust us, we’ve been where you are, let us help prepare you to land your dream construction management career or elevate you in your existing career

WHO’S IT FOR

Construction professionals wanting to start a career in Canada or to excel in an existing career, including:

  • Project Managers
  • Quantity Surveyors
  • Contracts Managers
  • Construction Managers
  • Engineers

Let’s face it, typically you only get one shot at a job interview and the most experienced and/ or qualified person for the job doesn’t necessarily get it. It’s often the person that best understands the role and speaks confidently about how they will succeed in the role, that gets the job. This can be difficult as even if you are an experienced practitioner in your own country, you can walk into a job interview lacking confidence as you’re not sure if your skills are transferrable. The resources in this website will help you find the connections between your current experiences (whether its your current job, past experiences, education etc.) and your future dream role in Canada, inspiring the confidence to help you land the job you want.

Likewise, those without experience can use the resources here to understand the different construction professional roles in Canada and what you can be expected to do on a day to day basis. Using the templates and training provided herein, you will get insight into construction professional roles so that you can walk into interviews knowing your own capability which is invaluable for your confidence which in turn will boost your chances of landing the job.

Typically you only have 15-30 minutes to prove you are the right candidate for the job. These resources will give you the confidence to walk into any interview scenario, knowing that you can speak from a place of experience and therefore elevating your chances of success.

Who We Are

We are expats that are lucky enough to now call Canada home. We know how hard it is to relocate to a foreign country and wonder if the skills you learned in your home country are transferrable.
Having lived it as both the interviewee and the interviewer, we understand that it can be difficult to communicate how past experience from your home country is relevant to the current role, especially when you’re not sure what the interviewer’s expectations are.
We realized that there are limited resources available to help expats or prospective expats understand the ins and outs of the construction industry in Canada and help them make the connections to their past experience and provide the confidence to thrive in any interview situation.
